"I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated 15th ultimo, enquiring when a Certificate of Title would issue in connection with Claims U No.1 Survey District and K No.II Survey District, and in reply to inform you that it is not considered expedient to issue a formal Certificate of Title pending a determination of the exact amount of tax payable on the land but that it is hoped that this will be settled at no very distant date.
